Yep, as craig said above we were side by side going through the gates into silverstone :D

.... i did notice the fiestaturbo.com stickers and clifford stickers etc, as well as the fact they looked identical........ was defo loving the comps, mine is still running on the standard wheels of course. We were on the Norfolk RSOC stand, where the cars have qued for the 0-60 sprints in previous years,

I've just put in a reproduction dealer sticker too..... and yep, its in the same place! :aviator:

Cheers mate, much appreciated! Same goes for your car too, the reflection in the paint was like a mirror!!

The dealer sticker is for Blakes of Liverpool where the car came from when new, i have got some dealer plates as well BUT i can't put the front one on as it's got a front mount intercooler and the plate is off centre in the space where the drivers side fog lights would be and a bit small lol. Thats the only difference with our cars i think, the wheels for you and the intercooler for me lol! :D

Re: My Fiesta RS Turbo project(update 02/11/10*Winterised+Hose*)

Postby Dave G fsi on Tue Nov 02, 2010 10:00 pm

Update time!

Well, as of 14th September she has been off the road for the winter to keep away from all that evil salt and ice! Gave her a thorough clean then tucked her up in the garage under the car cover for safe keeping! :aviator:

Anyway, I was back home this weekend to sort out my dads car for its MOT (which it passed :D ) and while I was there, I finally got round to fitting the bottom hose to the RS. I needed to do this before the winter as the coolant in the engine was so dilute it was basically water and I didnt want the block to crack or anything like that so the plan was to drain it, change the bottom hose then fill her with coolant.

Its all done now and I'm delighted with how the hose looks too, and there will be no cracked blocks now either :D

Was a right ball ache to do buts its all done now and set up for the winter of hibernation :)

Anyway, here's some pics:
