this si the car i had for 3 months now had to strip it all down due to finding rot as i thoguht the car was mint but found this lurking beneath

any one else had these issues in these areas im goign to be roestoring my rs so wil be updating in the future

:bonkers: Truthfully fella its probs best/CHEAPER/easier to re-shell it--But if your determined to save it you really need a solid donor for clean panels...

I worked for 3yrs for a main dealer Body shop..Accident repair/jiging an straightening...The whole nine yards..Plating not an option as by the time u've fecked about doin that its quicker/cleaner/easier to jus unpick welds an replace whole panels..
The A pillar is a serious part of a mono constructed vehicle..an jus chopping out an replacing or plating is not advisable its imperative that the shell is supported an braced accordingly before anything is removed.
The pillar on your motor is pretty bad but as above with the right equipment/knowledge/patientce it can be done...Not cheap for a pro to do but it is salvageable... :Q

im with fraggle, try and find a mint 3.5 shell and get it done!

the rot on that could go deeper than you think...
