hi guys

no been on here for some years now (6 or 7 now :o )

my first project car ever was this (some of you may remember )

Image

well since then i have grown up , bought a house and been working very hard , so not had time for any big projects .

until i bought a neat little merc grey frst of my mate for £700

so far ive ripped it apart, took the engine out and sold it , welded all the little holes and bits and bobs in the floor and engine bay , repainted the bay .......then been buying bits for my 1800 zetec turbo

its going to be a budget build due to the house e.t.c. so no going for a mega spec, just a nice 200bhp ish

bodywork wise the car will be completely standard as i dont want to start chopping an rst up but it will be lowered on coilovers on some escos rims and i'll probably raise the back end of the bonnet

the interior will be completely standard bar my wideband afr guage and boost guage

pics to follow :Q
project fez has landed !!

it is mate , built that car when i was 17 ha ha
see you have a polo, check mine out , soon to have a 1.8 20vt lump in it

Image

here some progress pics of the fiesta anyway

first job was to rip the interior out , weld all the little bits on the floor (not much but i want the car to be solid),
re-seam seal it all and then re-sound deaden it all , crap pic but you get the idea !

Image

painted the bay and removed the battery tray, looked like a battery had exploded in there beforehand, could do with a new brake servo

Image

modified the zetec inlet, focus rs fuel rail and regulator, fiesta rs throttle body made to fit

shiney new intercooler
