right... picture time
thanks lads.
EDIT:the inlet may appear higher in the pics than the bonnet seal. it is all mounted correctly so if it does foul, i have bonnet raisers to use.

good work there Ben

A few bits to do then, my name is alex btw mate. Ur si looks in good nick mate, normally si's seem to be abused by people as a daily runabout

bodywork doesnt look all THAT bad in the pics?
thats where my knowledge ends, id rather have a pro do it because if i f**k it up id just leave it looking s**t - havnt dared try the whole fillereing/sanding/painting/welding jazz properly yet

Re: MY fiesta si - engine mounted 23/10
it's very easy to make paintwork look semi decent in pics lol ill post proper detailed pics, especially of my f**cked foor and 1/4.
plus ive neglected it whilst doing the engine etc, so theres a few more dings etc but hey ho.
wouldnt mind tackling filling etc, trying to prep it best i can, send it to the body shop and if it was s**t they could just re do it, if not ive saved myself some wonga

Re: MY fiesta si - engine mounted 23/10
Mike fillering is relatively easy, just get the mixture right and use sandpaper in the right order just getting a professional to do the painting is a good idea. Yeah i have dings in the doors due to car parks ( and the old man 'forgetting' i parked behind him) but i cbf to do anything about it now!! Lol. I also find taking pictures doesnt show up bad bits on the bodywork ben.

What u doing about a rad/coolant system?? It always makes me worry if i did my engine conversion. Lol. Electronics scare me most!! i can tell when you have this you'll be driving everywhere for a while with a smile on your face!!

Re: MY fiesta si - engine mounted 23/10
thanks jony. funnily enough i was thinking that! will whack the spirit level out to check.
using the front zetec mount bud. ill let you know though mate!
thanks Mark very pleased with it so far!
alex, im using a standard 1.6si rad with samco hose kit. i was thinking about uprating to a larger, alloy rad but i dont think it will need it eg its just overkill. but i am going to look into that when its all up and running!
electrics scare me too haha! thats the one thing i missed off the list, plugging it all in! coming across s**t. funnily enough im a trained electrician but it just puts me off.
the smile will be irremoveable, until i get used to the power and want more haha
