Well its being a long long time :o Changed quite alot on the car since last update, so added what I can remember.

Thought I would update the thread.

Fitted under engine gaurd
First cleaned off the the grease and oil. Took alot of de greaser and hot water.

Looks great when all clean and tidy

Simply slipped under the car and fitted the ford clips.

Thanks both of you. I am glad that I have got a undertray, stops all the water and crap coming up into the engine bay, a rite hassle if your trying to keep it looking tidy.

I have just got some pepper pots off a xr2. I think they have being painted black in the centre or did they come like that?

Either way I quite like them and think that it will look good lowered on them.

looking good tom, forgot hwow good that boot build was, you have given me a good idea of covering all visable metal in the boot with a material glued on, eg the lower slam panel ( the one with the boot latch on)

if you lowered her about 40mm this car would really look the part imo, and handle a load better, if your still on the 14" wheels it wont rub down 40mm


i have 195/50/15s on atm down 30mm, arch/skirt kit on and its not even rubbed yet, you'll be fine :)

These are obviously gonner be refurbed and some new tyres put on. Will also be lowering the car -30mm.

Yes please mate lower. The car is crying out for it, lower it 40mm trust me 30 isn't enough you will regret it, I did

I got mine from Andy on FG. It was a optitional extra on the xr2i's.

They are great, it makes such a difference. Also stops me seeing the floor everytime I open the bonnet, dam small 1.1 engine :lol:
