Been working on some gt-four riser blocks today, broke one of my old ones after removing them; so bought these and went ahead and smoothed over the -four on the badge to leave the gt on there nowhere near finished yet but looks quite good i think :)

been tinkering with the car and some bits again

so spent a few more hours cleaning the car ready for me to get the machine polisher on it next week hopefully, washed, iron x, clayed, washed and dried, so here are a few more pics

bled from the iron x, was expecting it to be quite bad and turn purple all over, but the only parts that were the worst were the skirts

Image

can see where ive clayed and not clayed

Image

finished

Image

tad bit of corrosion

got quite abit of a leak from the filler neck too, so a new one will be bought end of the month

and a few imperfections on the car :(

need to get some spacers for the rear so will try and get that sorted at the end of the month, just need to measure the size i need.

jobs to do now for it to pass its mot is fit the catalytic converter, sort the handbrake kit out and fit the fuel filler neck, then get it some tax and insurance, then i can have some playtime with it :D

well had a horrible day today while i was at work, had the handbrake sorted on it and had it sent for an MOT for it to fail on emissions as the cat i got was about 4"too short, so thought will go for it and see how it goes, well got a phonecall at 6oclock to tel me it PASSED :o very shocked with that but also very happy as i get to play with it again :D passed with the decat too, so happy days, had a few advisorys tho

all corners have light corrosion
front an rear discs (been stood for nearly a yr)
nearside balljoint slight play (strange as there new)

so im a happy chappy :D on another note i changed the leaky filler neck to be greated with this

[img=http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c232/ibeecroft/DSC08389_zps306f3e1d.jpg]

new shiney filler neck (its got 6 coats of hammerite smooth too so fingers crosssed it shouldnt get like that again) :)
