maybe I better get a sports suspension kit . Its much lower than it was when i stuck those 15" wheels on. Thing is, when I got passengers in the back the wheel scrapes the arch (when going over bumps). If I had 60mm springs on the back, wot would happen??!!
I love the wheels, they really stand out
Lump under bonnet is 1.25 16v Zetec. Only added a PiperCross air induction kit. Roarrrrrrrr!!

u would have to roll the arches, no big deal tho.
its prob cus u got g-max springs, put sum spax on it and it should look better, mines spax 40mm and u can just squeeze two fingers under the arch and i can still fit people in the back without it scraping.

Was gonna get spax but the guy from halfords called spax up (bcuz my car model wasnt in the book) and he said they had 40mm springs for the car, but it wouldnt look much lower because the engine is so light. So I decided on the G-Max.
The G-Max hasnt lowered it as much as I would have liked, but its lower than what the pictures show, and big improvement on cornering. I'm gonna concentrate on styling from now on, so the springs will have to do until I finished the bodykit.

I got exactly the same car part from its a 3 door and its black, and i got 15" Fox alloys and its only been lowered 35mm and it rubs like fcuk! even wen its juts me in by me self. I've had the arches completely rolled but the wheels catch on the bumper and the very, very bottom of the arch and my tyres have now got some nasty slashes in them!

what springs did you get then (brand)?
I cant get the Bic™ to scrape unless I got 3 ppl in the back and go over a nasty bump at an un-presidented speed
I got G-Max 40mm.
