I think you did a good thing in getting rid of all the black lights. The car looks 10x nicer without them. Although, I personally think it could be improved with a standard RST bonnet.
My name is Alex. I used to have a Capri. I don't anymore. But I'm still called Capri.

i do hate to say this but that looks toss with that bumper mate, lights dont line up along the front, wheel arches dont marry up, only way IMO it could look good is to cut it about to fit rather than alter the car/arches to fit the bumper.
sorry mate, just MHO
if it was made to fit the car it would look ok i reckon

Not a dig at all just genuinely interested. All the Mk5 bits you've put on why not just buy a mk5 to start with?
Good work though if you're happy with it

Re: UPDATE! My mrk3/4/5 new pics
I see you borrowed some pics from my gallery.
I testfitted the standard mk5 zetec-s bumper on my 'standard' mk3 fiesta.. to see if it would match up.
It didn't !!!!
It didn't look right from different angles.
- It was to much curved to fit the near straight front of the mk3
- Gaps @ the headlights
- sticking out FAR to much @ the front (due to curving)
- didn't meet up @ arches with skirts
the only thing that did match was the fixing threads of the bumper were at the same position as where the holes of the mk3 front are.. but.. due to the curve of the bumper.. the threads were about 4" to short!! ..
I'd either had to change the front .. or the bumper.. extensivly to make it fit..
Then a MCR splitter came on my way .. and it suits the car so much more!!!
Leave the mk5 zetec-S front for the mk4 or mk5 fiesta's .. as they suite those cars beautifully.. (same goes for the 12 bore)
The 12 bore bumper has a very wrong name.. as it refers to the MESH and not to the bumper!!! (see MCR site)
It's an FS bumper (Focus Style) with 12 bore mesh (holes of 12mm)

Fully agreed, that looks terrible.

Re: UPDATE! My mrk3/4/5 new pics
hello all i know you doubted me but i have finished it now and it has all been fitted and tbh thought you would be right but i think i have pulled it off ill put pics up tomorrow hopefuly
filled the gaps by makinga new black strip where i work filed the gap in the middle with the mrk 6 grill as planned and had the bumper trilmmed to the curve of the arches and extended the bolts and it bolted to the side to pull it in got zs spoiler on and side skirts and aolloys pretty much finished now think it looks really good
cheers for your views
