Does look good. Needs the ambers putting back on & boot decals badges etc, but apart from that looks very tidy.

Any plans for it?

(Red top leads as well? RARE)

You only really need to run beige injectors with a T3. Your car would have been fine on the original blues.

Thats just how it came il see how it runs and put blues in if needed but have been thinking of doing a t3 conversion on it

The 701's are required as part of the 195 spec ie 1 bar boost. If your running less than that then the Blues will be ok.

T3 conversion would be good but its not original and if you have just replaced the T2 surley best to keep that for a while?

If thats the case i would point out a few things.

a) For it to run that amount of boost it must already have a chip in the ecu? (did it judder like crazy or was it fine?)
b) I would wind the rod out on the actuator pronto as the engine will last a matter of days at 1.5 bar on a standard intercooler and (presumed) stock bottom end.

Re pressure on the standard turbo 1 bar will be fine, but i would advise you take it lower than 1 bar as you have the standar IC. I used to run 1 bar on T2 but I had a front mount intercooler and an ACT gauge telling me how hot the air was entering the engine, the differnce between the standard intercooler and a full front mount is massive. Especially as the weather is coming into spring then summer the hotter the day the hotter your ACT's will be. So you need to knock about 8ish psi off.

Disconnect the actuator rod from the wastegate, and lengthen the rod by turing the end (this is the bit that hooks over the spline on the wastegate.) 1 full turn equates to roughly 1 psi. It will be a bit of trial and error, if you have a boost gauge its easy, adjust it & go for a spin if its still to high then adjust it some more, it gets dam hot down there though.

1 bar I would say is a little to much for blues. Initially when I had standard injectors, coupled with front mount and custom chip I ran the boost at around 10psi and with that spec it made a rolling roaded 174bhp.

Yeah :-? thats basically just stage one "165 stage" if you like. Only other things were piper x filter and magnex exhaust. If the engine & turbo are healthy then you have a solid base to start with. If its knackered smoking and generally sh!te then it wont make a decent figure.

I remember the first time I had it set up the engine was totally standard bar the exhaust and it made 132bhp which is bang on.

The problem with the mk3 Fiesta is not what rot you can see, its the rot you cant see, which can only be found by digging out the rot you can see

My FRST needed at least an inner and outer sill one side, outer sill the other side and a couple of patches in the floor. I decided to me it was not worth saving so i've broken it. Good on you for saving this one though
