My new track car!
OK guys and gals after deciding i dont want to use the cossie all the time for track due to breaking things perhaps i have decided with my brother and a friend to build a track car...
So we decided the idea cheap best car for the job was a Clio 172 cup, now after a bit of digging and research i found what i wanted and how i wanted to do it.
so we decided we wanted to buy a cheap one cage it and do the bits we need HOWEVER , i came across a very well caged shell (which were still to collect) but missing most its parts we decided to buy a doner car which we picked up for £1400
so the plan is to strip this of all the parts we need and swap it over onto the track car,, then we sell whatever is left and be left with the 1 car!
lots to come but were trying to keep the car cheap and cheerful but to a good standard!

Re: My new track car!
these cars are fantastic out the box, tuning wise there will be subtle mods as they dont need anything or would take mega money for small difference. just the usual coilovers, exhaust, manifold, matched inlet etc etc then use it!

Re: My new track car!
These are very cool and very capable cars. Ive always liked them. Like you say they are spot on from the start. Should make for a very impressive track car.
