My Polo
Re: My Polo - Pictures of the Damage.
i see your point and understand your thinking.but looking at the dent (right at the top of the wing) the person would of had to be standing infront of the car and striking down to get the dent right at the top, which isnt a natural thing to do.the dent is diagonal which is the reason behind my thinking.if any of that makes sense.lol.i do agree that the dent isnt foot shaped but you could easily stamp to get that sort of dent.

Re: My Polo - Pictures of the Damage.
IMO the person approached down one side from the rear; scratched the paintwork first, then did the mirror, then hit the wing using a weapon swinging from left to right, down toward the wing. Almost casual in the approach.
Irrelevant really, the person who did it manifestly has little respect for other people or their property.

Anddddd im back!
Lanchoski - thanks for understanding my point!
Andy - I do think it's a foot, they've booted it at the front, kicked the mirror from the front and keyed from under the mirror where it feel towwards the back of the car!
I've had words today, serious words and it was in vain really as it was totally denied, now I've had a gave to face chat though I feel much better as the original argument is now resolved and as far as I'm concerned over and done with. Just going to have to lump it and foot the bill for the damage
On the plus side it's convinced me further to do something about the bodywork ad paint on a whole.
Sam-si. As much as I'd like to have pliers him down I sadly had to refrain

Re: My Polo - Pictures of the Damage.
i was told last nite that my mother in law was run into thursday and they just drove off.she was turning onto a slip road for a multi storey car park and they tried to get down the side of her it the car knocked the mirror off and scuffed down the side.i have not seen the damage yet but i would of chased them down.
she was in shock when it happened (its only a one lane slipway thing,so its the last thing you would think would happen) and as she knows nothing about cars all she could say was "it was a dark coloured car"lol.so no chance of finding out who did it.
so now she has a full side paint and a new mirror to fork out for.i told her to ring the police as there will be cctv round there as its busy and at the side of a busy loading bay for a shopping centre.

No no, the weather is still the only contributing factor to the progress of the fiesta! I'm going to just fix this of and when I can be arsed tbh

Yeah-we have noticed also, did you say you were selling the shocks off the fez?? I really need some as my standard ones tend to bounce with the lower springs

Re: My Polo - Some New Photos!
also, trying to sell bits of the fiesta and not the whole car is hard when theres money in it i need atm
two new tyres for the alloys next week (hopefully ) then feb 25th new coilovers and wing mirror. the dent is getting sorted this weekend but the key mark is staying as i dont have money for it.
the central locking and windows are f**cked too, seems that the electrics in this car were fitted by someone with one eye and little knowledge (typical krauts )
so they will be done 25th this month.
i swear i have the worst luck with cars...

Re: My Polo - Some New Photos!
not 100% true!
the fiesta is/was fine, just has a seized engine but its not in use anyway
and when i bought this is was sound as, i got it through its mot after literally spending £10 on it for rear pads... everything that goes wrong with polos, windows, locks etc... has happened to this one in my ownership
think it really is just a case of bad luck as it was checked over before purchase by a vw mechanic! who i will be taking it to, to get the revelant repairs done and not doing them myself may save frustration and windscreens

Re: My Polo - Some New Photos!
do you ever reread what you write and think, wtf was i on about?
pretty much how i read it tbh
how in the world is a car with a seized engine, half its bits sold on for dodgy hipster spectacles and fish eye lenses in a "fine" condition
also if youve not touched the polo (which is a lie as you've fettled far more than you mentioned an hour or so ago) then like nick got my point, you clearly picked up a bad car
(yes we all do it to be fair, but most of us turn that around)

Im not going to retaliate, I know what you mean but you say it in the most offensive way you can think up.
I didn't sell my parts for dodgy hipster glasses, i got the glasses because I need and like them. And the fish eye is an extension for my iPhone that I got or my birthday...
Both things irrelevant to this thread. Just didn't understand why you felt the need mate...
And yes Adam we will!

okay you put it like that, sorry, thought it fit in with the friendly fire banter everyones been having lately
seriously though, stop trying to sell the car when things get tough, either sell it [ERRR] you dont want it, or shut up and keep it, but deal with the rough patches
you remind me of my ex like that, everytime we were short on cash she threatened to take her laptop to cash generator, bugged the s**t out of me lol

I think the friendly banter should stay in that other thread. Probably would have recognised that but I watched the notebook last night and I've been really emotional since
Nah man, just sat there doing nothing isn't it, there's money in it which I need. I dot wanna get rid or I would have already. Just needs must
