Re: My Polo - More Photos!
It's not base spec hahaha!
It's a small bumper gti just been fully rebuilt - 911 interior! Brand new coilovers etc... It has the 1.9 conversion too and it's rapid!
I know jony a nice gold though
Dusted off the fez yesterday, still no rust (thank f**k) will be starting it again in the summer

Tbh i disnt really mean base spec, i much prefer the small bumper gti's and golfs with no plastic arches look even better!! My mate is nearly finished doing his mk1 caddy pickup and it has had a lot of restoration!!

Yeah, it stopping firing, wouldn't turn over or start so I stripped the loom, took the head out then undid the engine mount.

Re: My Polo - Update.
Saved up for a new car - couldn't find one I liked so spent more money on this.
Since my last update it's had;
New front brake set up (cheapo ones)
Both front bearings
New tyres
A new standard backbox
And I bought these
And did that
Plans are as follows;
Custom stainless exhaust - booked in for monday
Wing/door scratch and both mirrors - booked in for the end of June.
Fit the polybushes, get it tracked up.
Fit the coilovers - get over speedbumps.
Get a standard set of headlights as these fog up like f**k now.
Fit gti manifold (delete pre-cat) - bought
Fit gti inlet manifold - bought
Get it re-remapped.
Fit my retrimmed recaros .
Freshen up brakes + service it (again)
Needs a new drivers cv joint too so that too.
What do you think? I'm doing well...
