havent got much planned for it to be fair,

im having a full respray , same colour . then just a general tidy up, had the engine looked at as i have no history at all with the car and it hadnt been on the road for 12 years.

i just like the standard look lol. what you lot think i should do keep standard or what?

Mate you can't clean the iscv once its gone its gone. You can test it with a multimetre to eliminate it but cleaning will do nothing. I am quite sure jayrs put a pic up of the resistance values the other day to let you know the kind of readings you should be getting. You can pick up the sensors for 20 30 notes off ebay but your not gauranteed as to what you are getting. Hope this helps

your talking aboput the tps,

but tbh sounds like the idle speed control valve is playing up, soak it in petrol and give it a go, if that doesnt work its probably f**cked, ebay can find you some for anything upto £60

nah that tiny pipe doesnt often see use, sometimes you get small amounts of water/coolant treacle through it

ive found that odd, and the header tank arrangement, as theyr eis only 2 pipes, the main and that relief pipe you mentioned, water seems to go both ways through the bigger pipe, raising and lowering the tanks level, but if you compair to a mk4 fiesta with the Se engines, there is 3 pipes to and from the tank :-?

i wouldn't say swirl pot not, more like well an expansion tank lol, its used if the water in the engine gets hotter than average and the expansion due to heat has some where to go ;)

great! glad i could help :D
