Re: My RS - Back on the Road
yeah i just wanted to hold it back a little.
a new front end is on the cards: slam panel, front valence, 2 new wings and scuttle panel and bonnet all sprayed in,
but just cant justify the cash on it at the moment.
it will be looked after though.

Re: My RS - Back on the Road and Clean!
well after thinking that id solved the problems, the rs let my g/frind down at the weekend.
so after a bit more investigating today, the rs works for good (hopefully) and got a few more bits on order.
but i thought as it was working id treat it to a good clean.
even the pigs appreciate it!

looks cool, I think the ambers look sweet, maybe spray the reverse clear panel red so both rear euros look the same?
I left mine back in Croydon until all the road salt has washed away and I get its MOT done in March! Will try and go to Surry RSOC over Easter and try my best to go to FITP! See you around!

Re: My RS - New Turbo Fitted!!
right not long after the last pictures were taken the motor started bellowing out white smoke, which upon further inspection it was concluded my old turbo had finally given up the ghost.
now i have had the new turbo delivered and fitted it up on saturday!! had the car out a couple of times since, and it is perfect again!
cant wait for some more good weather now! heres the turbo anyway!

Re: My RS - MOT Pass!!
been a while, but in recent weeks i have found a new enthusiasm for the rs, FITP, classic ford day at the pod and the mot has helped me get back in the mood,
put the multispokes back on it just for a change and put the rear lights back to uk spec for the mot.
chucked it in and hey presto it passed, not bad for a 18 year old motor that i only checked the lights on! only advisory was the front wheels are balding on the inside edge!!
cant decide whether i like the multispokes or the comps more, but cant wait til next week as im off to TOTD for more boost!!!

Re: My RS - TOTD Results now In!
went to TOTD this morning and i can safely say what a top bunch of guys, would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a tuner.
Chris Todd is a great bloke to talk to and knows his stuff.
anyway i went to get the boost raised and see what outputs it had. struggled with the boost as my chip has a preset boost limit so im running 16psi which is as high as i can and the car does feel more responsive and stronger for it.
now the output.
188.2 with 180 lbs/ft. not bad for a t2! this i think is the limit for now without some major changes which im not planning for now. for the little i use the car that is plenty!
