my rs1800...M148 ANJ
Re: my rs1800...M148 ANJ
FRSJON :jimmyesh :Top work mate, can't wait to see her looking her best
cheers jimmy but its not looking its best at the minute had a few issues when painting, basically me not leaving enough time between coats had a fair bit of sagging and a few runs im struggling to make it look something ready for central day the car will be there but once home again will come apart to be painted again the joys of doing it yourself . the only thing in my favour is it only cost me the £55 for the paint pics soon
keep your chin up mate!!

the missus would love it matt black but not going to happen was dropping off some parts to another fiesta owner today at his lock up and found out theres a body shop next door, nothing fancy but good enough for my needs... so after central day and when he has time it WILL be painted properly

Shame you never got to do any runs but at least it was a good day im sure colin would paint yours too if you dont have another go yourself. im hoping to get mine finished and ready paint in next couple of months, im having fun trying to mock up mounts for the intercooler, rad and oil cooler all in the front at mo - well its in there but im not happy with it yet Its amazing how picky ive become over things lately llama!

Re: my rs1800...M148 ANJ
for a while ive wanted to tidy up the engine bay of my car so today i took off the strut brace as its going to danny and painted the header tank satin black as i was fed up of polishing them both.once id started stripping things i got a bit carried away in my old car i took out the fire wall from the rear of the engine bay. as this car has had major mods to the entire engine bay the fire wall was no different. once it was all stripped out i found something alarming that has stopped me using the car for a while the remote brake pots that are bolted to the fire wall were removed as i want to replace them,to my horror one of the bolts holding them on has gone straight though the main loom and all along the length of the bay the loom has started melting . all of this was hidden behind the fire wall so no one would notice it,im so suprised because it hasnt even blown a fuse ! so during my engine bay revamp the loom will be changed/repaired as well pics tomorrow hopefully
