My RST - nearly come to that time...
Click the pic and scroll to about 3/5 down the page. 70-63mm reducer, closest I've found.
Link doesn't work....click onto Coolant hose universal pipes, reducers etc if you're still wanting to replace it

Thanks guys - Dave if you have the hose I'll give you some beer tokens for your trouble as I don't really wanna replace it all with that dodgy hose still on the car.
This is my issue - the hole that's not come out too well in the photos, the first one shows the mangled thread that's left after the bung made a quick exit last night - that explains the 'pftoom' noise we heard!
Cheers,
Andy

heeman10 :Of course you could just weld it over...
Tony suggested that to me as well - I'll see what I can get sorted next week, so it'll be a while before I can get any video footage!
DaveRom :Andy
Just had a look in garage, its the only hose i haven't got mate. Other stuff is too small in diameter.
Sorry
Dave
Not to worry mate, thanks for looking!
I wanna get a couple of other things sorted out over this weekend/early next week including the 1.6S rev counter and finding my plazma-dials so I can get it all installed at the same time, there are plenty of the hoses I'm after on eBay so shouldn't cost me too much to sort out
Cheers,
Andy

You will find after a bit that 2 stage boost will be useless As it will be in high boost constantly Alex's never goes in low boost he might as well take the button out

I would think it'd be useful to have low boost if it's tipping down and you're a bit worried about grip.
I'm not 100% au fait with the way the fuelling and boost are interlinked on this management, but I did suggest to Andy that he get low boost mapped to run with 95RON petrol so he could use it as a commuter mode almost or if he has to use sludgy petrol...

Ok but i bet ya he won't use it, give it time
Even running up the strip in wet conditions we tryed low boost through the first few gears then high boost but it didn't bake a blind bit of difference Spins through first 3 gears either way

Aii - yeah in the wet low boost wouldn't make much difference with wheelspin!
Can't wait to get driving it again - I'm worried I'm gonna want to drive it all the time though!

Did some cleaning of the engine bay today (I've done the underside of the bonnet as well after looking at these photos! )
Good old Autosol
The bonnet latch doubles up as a handy hook for the lead lamp (a handy Aldi purchase! )
Cleaned the top tank on the intercooler - will do the rest of it another time
Gonna take a couple more goes of cleaning and polishing to get those water marks out of the header tank!
Gave the cabby a quick wash over earlier today as well
The beast
Can't wait to get driving it again
Cheers,
Andy

I hope to find out the bhp figure when I get it rolling roaded - I want to make sure the engine is running properly with the inlet manifold fixed first before getting it booked in (otherwise I could end up with a car that doesn't run properly on the day of the rolling road session).

Andy

Nice job mate, gonna have to do my bay soon. Looks a right mess after all the oil leaking.....
Have you got a cam belt cover or do you just leave it like that? would like to get my manifold rapped up as well.

Thanks dude - it's worth doing as it gives you a chance to make sure everything's where it should be at the same time as making it look nice.
The cambelt cover is still at Grove Garage - I'll give them a call to get it sent back because it's got a neatly made cutout in the top for the top timing sensor that Gadget fitted for use with the Cossie management. I don't like driving it without one, not worth the risk with the amount of rubbish on the roads.
Cheers,
Andy

Why not try putting a Helicoil into that hole and then a bung? Depends on how much space you have to get in though i suppose.
As for hose, we have untold amounts of hose at work so ill have a spy tomorrow and see if i can find something that might be of help.

Sorted the hole in the inlet manifold - I'm just gonna eat dinner then go out for a drive in it
Will try and get a little bit of video footage up a bit later - for your viewing pleasure!
Cheers,
Andy

More bad news I'm afraid - there appears to be a problem with my ECU which made itself apparent when hitting boost for the first time this evening!
ECU failed on the way back but the problem with it appears to be intermittent. I'm taking the ECU apart tomorrow to have a look at the board and port on the back to see if there is anything obvious wrong with it (perhaps making contact and shorting out with a solder point on the board).
Cheers,
Andy

Curse of the Cossie rims
I thought my bad luck started way before that - like FITP 2003 I think!

I've only just got around to working on the car today - it's now become a chore that I really don't want to undertake.
Car wouldn't start at all today - engine turns over but no spark, so I'm assuming the ECU is now dead.
fudgekin great!
Cheers,
Andy

Sort yourself with a new ECU if no-one professional's suggesting otherwise Andy. You could really wear yourself down searching for solutions if a replacement ECU is all that will fix this. Have you tried some re-con places yet? Ask for prices including an exchange ECU and let me know what you come back with. Remind me what ECU it was again, and send me any codes on it and I'll ask that guy I told you about

Right - narrowed it down to these 2 now, I'm off to Grove tomorrow to check out whether the ECU or the ignition amplifier are causing the fault.
The symptoms are all pointing at the ignition amplifier being the cause - fingers crossed it is because the ECU swapover is going to be more hassle/time with copying maps across.
'The Accused'
Cheers,
Andy
