Postby Dave G fsi on Tue Mar 31, 2009 7:49 pm

As many of you will be pleased to hear (especially M1K3Y_B  ), I ordered a set of spax -35mm lowering springs for the si yesterday, and will be picking them up on Saturday!

I'll be fitting them in the next couple of weeks, along with the FRST bonnet, all ready for her going back on the road on Saturday 2nd May! I really can't wait to get her back on the road again after 6 months!

Will post before and after pics when I fit the new suspension :aviator:

Right then, time for an update! Not been on here for a few days as I've been mad busy, but I managed to find the time last wednesday to get the si lowered.......finally!!

Picked the springs up from demon tweeks a couple of weeks ago, and just before I left, this turned up in the car park....

Well, this weekend I finally got the FRST bonnet polished up after respraying it and put it on. I'm delighted with it! Is such a big improvement and just finishes the car off nicely at the front. :aviator:

Oh, I also got the rocker cover and engine bay cleaned up and polished again ready for FITP :Q

The next plan is to put a 2.0ltr zetec engine in, hopefully this year if money allows and other than that, just drive it and enjoy it! :aviator:
