jay- i did, but i went on track at castle combe a few months ago, and it became clear using 13's with a biiig tyre wall didnt do much for the traction or handling, and as im planning on going on track as much as possible im doing everything i can to improve the handling, and i think these wheels look nicer than the old 2i alloys :D

steve-its as low as its going to go, the rear is higher because its stripped out and ive fitted the koni adjustables at the back, which have springs that make the car sit higher than the front set up.

fiend-it wont be long before i spray them black :aviator:

the engine has recently started sounding a bit awful though, below is a video taken of it idling :(

i finally got round to sorting out the exhaust system the other day, i bought a 3" ashley exhaust, as they are cheap and i had one with the cvh which did the job fine. took a while to fit, getting the old exhaust off took about an hour as it was veeeeery reluctant to come loose. anyway, a couple of pics

Image

Image

i also managed to get a K&N air filter to replace the rubbish old one, i only paid £10 for it so its not in brilliant condition, but works fine

Image

and i managed to lower the rear of the car more by refitting my old spax springs with the koni shocks, and fitted some new fogs i bought off turboboy, took a couple of pics after id washed it
