Need a new car alarm with remote start-what should i go for?

Postby jimmyesh on Sat Dec 23, 2006 6:14 pm

As per title, I've got an old lazerline system in at the moment which has started getting tempramental and would like something more modern preferably with remote start and some nice features (eg.texts me to tell me some thieving benefit-scrounging scumbag is making off with all my hard work!! :x been there before  :x )

There's quite a bit of choice on ebay, It looks to me like clifford or toad maybe the way to go...?

All advice much appreciated

I personally cannot fault my clifford... even though it got broken into.. it did its job as best as it could even though it came to nothing.

The toad on my previous fiesta was also very good.

Contact Rhinopower on here.. he's our alarm guru!

if you can still buy them have a concept 600 and remote start these are the best clifford i have fitted and used.Iv'e had three of these on my last rs turbos cannot speak more highly of these, because of all the hi tech sensors you get. If you cannot get one of these then the equivellent to this is the concept 950 but you have to buy the window roll ups as an extra now as they were standard on the c600.

cant get the 600 any more, yes the inteliguard 950 has all the sensors the 600 did, but clifford dropped the built in extras like that to boost sales of Smart Windows etc etc
