i think the water temp is the one on the head sticking out near the exhaust manifold, this also is missing a connector!

dont know what to do about this

the one on the front is only for the gauge on the dash. the engine water tem sensor is on the rear of the inlet manifold :)

The orange bit sticking out of the thermostat housing is your fan switch motorsport developments sell uprated meaning they bring the fan in earlier and off at a lower tempthan standard 20 pound delivered mine was for the rs the thin temp gauge wire that goes by the exhaust manifold can be bought off eBay also I think its about 6 pounds delivered

The temp wire goes to the dash mate. The one for ecu is white sensor I think? on the inlet manifold don't know if you can use that for ecu though :-?

That's what I thought the one on inlet reads the inlet temp and the one for dash reads water temp in the engine itself is this correct

from memory, there are 2 sensors on the inlet, the inlet air temp (side of inlet), and engine coolant temp (back of inlet by fixing bolts) (both go to ecu)

temp gauge sensor is on the front of the head as mentioned and either has a flat spade terminal, a round flat circle that a female spade will fit on or a round threaded pin type thing like the oil pressure switch has

AWOL i do love you

so if thats correct, the orange thermostat housing sensor is for the fan switch

great, just need some plugs/connectors for them now

FYI the water temp on the front for mine is a threaded type (like oil pressure)

daft that these CVH's use 2 different sensors though

to be fair, the colour (red yellow and blue) indicates the size of the wire end :)
