Sorry for any confusion caused, but I don't have an RST, it is a 1.6Si, stupid me for not saying. I have 57i and full Scorpion exhaust and tuned to 112bhp. I need more!!!! Help

Tuned to 112? what have you done? <br><br>Dont spend any more moey on it mate.<br><br>1.6 Zetecs were desinged for economy (which obviouslt failed 30mpg is crap!!!) and have a different combustion chamber and tiny vavles.<br><br>Save up £300 for a low mileage 1.8 series 2 zetec from a breakers. Everything will swap over and you current ECU will run a 1.8 no probs.<br><br>With the mods youve got you should be seeing 115bhp

You could spend an Arm and and Leg, and then a right foot, trying to get more BHP, but as the man above says, is like getting blood from a stone, larger capacity engine is the way to go, I can;t really give you any more advice as I have yet to go down that road,<br><br>I wouldn,t put a 1600 CVH 8v Turbo in there, get a Zetec <IMG SRC="http://cgi.deep6.force9.co.uk/ubb/smilies/smile.gif"> is the way to go <IMG SRC="http://cgi.deep6.force9.co.uk/ubb/smilies/smile.gif"><br>and it would probly cost you about the same that it would trying to get more than 150bhp out of your Current Zetec<br>

GO STRAIGHT FOR A 2.0 WITH A PORTED HEAD, CAMS, INDUCTION KIT AND MODDED CVH 4BRANCH AND DECENT EXHAUST, USE THE 1.6SUMP AND OIL PICK UP PIPE AND IT WILL BOLT STRAIGHT IN, SET UP PROPERLY YOU SHOULD SEE AROUND 140/160 WITHOUT THE CAT.
