New brakes squeeking
Just spent £80 on a new pair of front discs/pads only to have them squeeking the day after! Tell me I didn't screw up braking too hard too early and burnt the pads out
Is this just them wearing in or what

youve glazed the pads,
take em out and rough em up with a file/ grinder, make sure you keep em flat tho.
next time brake gently if possible - granted emergency stops are necessary sometimes.
do a series of stops gradually getting harder from low to higher speeds and they should " bed " in quicker"

I'd start by looking at the amount of copper slip applied to the pad backs as many garages skimp and almost wave the pad over the tin and that's about as much as they get
Never argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience
