Well i sold my old car and now have bought this. I first saw it at FITP this year and i took some photos of it because i really like the spray job. And i was browsing through the cars for sale on Pistonheads and came accross it and recognized it from FITP, anyway i drove for 11 hours on Sunday to go and get it from kent. A long drive but well worth it. Let me know what you think.

I have to say the orange looks awful on the mk3 but I do really like that on the mk5! The front end just looks so yum!

Yea id have to loose the bumpers. Love the wheels, arches and bonnet though!

It's very orange. You certainly shouldn't lose it.

As far as Sad-Boy bonnets go though that's not too bad at all.

Yeah im not a big fan of lexus lights or LED lights either but these ones are growing on me for some reason. I am thinking of swapping them for the smoked lights though. It sure is very orange lol the colour looks great when the sun shines on it as you can see. Doesnt really sparkle gold unless the suns on it though. Its just nice to have a newer car i must admit, power steering, abs, A/C etc etc.

Smoked lights will look a lot better, I have them, Fairly tricky to get hold of these black (not brown!) ones. I got them from Germany!

erm main update is that last week i cracked the back bumper coming off a kerb lol so im waiting to get that fixed at the moment. Hopefully going to get the plate put on this week. DVLA being a pain in the arse about it as usual

Cracked bumper, ooh. You putting a standard ZS one on?

Nah im just gonna get this one fixed. Gna be a bit of a Bic™ though because theres alot of smoothing on it and fibreglass and filler! Just hope the paint match is ok though, its suppose to be a nightmare to do. Oh well we will see. Ill try and get a photo of the damage sometime tommorrow.

I *think* the match will be ok if they paint the whole bumper. Think its the blending that's a pain / not possible but depends on who mixes paint etc i guess.

My mates dad owns a spray shop and he works there too so he is going to do it as a foreigner for me. Hes done some repair work before on a orange focus ST so hopefully it will turn out ok! Ive been told that because its a pearescelnt colour it is the way it is sprayed on which determines how it looks. i.e the angle its sprayed etc. And yeah he will be spraying the whole bumper again.

Modified cars really are a pain in the arse!
