New Job ;)
Well ive been fed up with where i work for a while now, as a cad operator/electrical engineer trainee. When i started i was told i was a trainee cad operator which soon changed when i started, and my pay doesnt reflect the design work i do, i no i cant expect masses of money but to be on 10k doin the job the bosses do was annoyin, espec when other people dont pull their weight, the bosses know about it but do nothing. The company pay for me to go to uni one day a week buts itll be a 5 year course and i dont enjoy it one bit.
Anywayz i applied for a job i saw in the window of Burton Power , got an interview next day, went back a few days after to ask some questions, then yesterday by acceptance letter came, so today is my resigning day, (a months notice :< )
Anywayz i may only be employed as a trainee mail order operative or summin (parts picker) where i have to find peoples mail order bits and put them in the dispatch area but its a start in a career that could be good.
Says on the letter i work mon - fri 9-5 but may be required to go to cover absneces or go to shows .
Anywayz rant and happy talk over, its time to go to work.
Opinions please ...

Nice one mate, Should be a bit of fun. Although in the long run the qualification/bit of paper you would have recieved from going to college in the other job i feel would have been more useful, That is unless you dont already have qualifications or whatnot already!
I have parts for sale!!!!.....Nice parts too!!!

lol i no i no, but na now ive resigned ive seen what the companies really like, they continuously dig at me now about working on cars not requiring intellect and saying that cars arent a career and to be honest makes me wanna hit them but there you go thats life.
Burtons is a job not necessarily a career and at the end of the day i have an interest in it so will find it more interesting.

havent they got a point? end of the day you will be lugging boxes in a shop store room.
If you were off to design cars or something these prob would have shook your hand & said all the best of luck
But anyway, hope it goes well for ya
