Hey i Have N reg Mk3.5 Fiesta si. i have a 1.1k budget to get this car resonabily fast and looking ok!! could i have some ideas please as ive only had this fiesta like a week and dont really know whats out there for this car.

the car needs a respray but i can live with out and neeeds a new drivers rear quater.

ive heard these cars are restricted? how do i remove this?

nah not restricted mate, is it the 1.6? if so you could drop the 2l mondeo engine and ecu with your loom and gear box for 130-140 bhp and have enough for a cheep repair

yea it is the 1.6, a ecu in? is that possible with my car? im sure this is carb :S efi???

the mk 3 1.6s was carb the old xr2 engines that needed using up but yours is a mk3.5 1.6si injection model mate its a simple swap really if you know a likle about it its pretty mch a straight forward swap!? a few lads on here have done it

mk1 or 2 mondeo if its n reg it will be it has smaller mirrors and a flap on the petrol cap mate

EDIT: id go for mk 2 if possible as they have under piston oil jet !!

:) ok is it just the engine gearbox n ecu needed? all do i need the whole lump incl drive shafts??

no mate use the si gearbox and drive shaft i do belive the cluch and flywheel on the 2l mondeo fits the si box straight up i would test fit out the car tho just in case if not you just put them off the si engine onto the 2l block you may need to open the bolts up on the flywheel but im sure its only the cvh's this is done on. as for the ecu it must be the DESK DEWY or DEEP ecu from the mondeo then its all plug and play mate

would ask someone who has actually done this but im 99% sure this is correct mate
