Looks clean mate. Although I would change the side repeaters back to standard and the fuel cap. :)

That looks a cracking buy for the money, can't argue at £600 for sure!! :D

The morrettes arn't for me, would look much better with standard headlights imo BUT.... otherwise, top job! 8)

nice mate.
bummer about the pump though, although its not a nightmare to do really, sump would need changing on the 2 litre anyway (unless its been done already) and it woyld be best to fit a new belt to it too.

you need to clean that workshop mate :oooh: , and i hope you dont leave the boot open on the mk2 like that, i left the boot open on my mk2 for best part of 18 months, came to shut it when moving it out and one hinge was rotted through and just stayed there while the boot folded round it

tbh the hinge was a bit manky to start with i think but still soild, well was  i got a brand new gen ford boot lid for the xr2 anyway (as well as 2 s/h ones) so im not worried.

i'll keep it though, going on rusted panels at ford fair its gotta be worth £300

thats it mate, you know the pump is spot on now so its a worry your never have.
i still havent put the belt kit on the zetec engine for my xr2, so although ive put a 1.6 water pump on it, i might just change it for a brand new one, and maybe pop a new oil pump on it, if i can get one at a good price

The FRST spoiler makes such a difference :)

How come you didn't go for a 1.6/1.8 Fiesta/Escort oil pump, so that you could run the larger standard oil filter? Apologies if you did, just looks like a Mondeo one from the photo though!
