Newish Engine - Need a 1.4 or 1.6 Zetec preferably 50k miles
Hey,
Can you guys help me?
I have a fiesta mk3 N reg 1100. And there's no power what so ever as i have 17" wheels.
So, i'm thinking of getting a zetec 1.4 or 1.6 out of an Si, Ghia etc. So it will give me a better boost without much more insurance.
So, what will i need to go with the engine and where do i get it all.
If anyone has one for sale or a lead please tell me, thanks.

Im just about to remove my 1.6 16v out of my si, it will need a new head mind you as it needs new camshaft seals, but the engine goes very well, had it up to 121 bhp before i sold off the bits, now its standard again.
You can have it if you like, you would need a new head, and a few ancillerie bits as i need the ones off the 1.6 for my 2.0 conversion.
Block is solid, engines just had a full service.

Yeah, I'd Be Up For That. But I Know Nothing About Fitting And The Heads. How Much Are They Gonna Set Me Back?
Thanks

i wouldnt know mate, if ur lucky about 50 quid off ebay. the one on my engine is fine, just it needs new camshaft seals, looking at 150 to get them done, then the engine is tip top. went like stink for a 1.6. like i said, 121bhp help well in it, the camshaft seal wear was down to the previous owner taking advice from an audi garauge on the correct oil 2 use, obviously wrong!
