Next ICE setup

Postby ukgaz on Tue Mar 27, 2007 2:27 pm

Ok, Just got my next car which is a Fiesta MK6 Studio, im thinking of doing it in the same way i done my last setup which is so that it matches the rest of the car and if possible from the same manufacturer, the new car would be in silver, so was thinking the ICE should be silver/black with blue illumination, im looking to spend upto 500 on the new setup which would include headunit, sub (possibly 2 subs) and amp, been looking at alpine, would like the amp to run a min of 400W

personally I would :

Pioneer Headunit
Pioneer sub
Pioneer front components
Pioneer 6x9's ( only if you can get a stealth shelf otherwise rear comps ).
And a pioneer amp for the sub.

just been on a site rough prices as follows:

amp are 1000w max
subs are 1000w max each
my current is a 480w so this should do nicely

Kenwood KDC-W4037 *KDCW4037 - WMA MP3 CD Tuner >> hu >> 80

Kenwood KAC-7203 *KAC7203 - High Quality 2-channel Power Amplifier >> amp >> 115

Kenwood KFC-W2511 *KFCW2511 - 25cm Component Subwoofer >> sub >> 37.5 x2

Alpine R10DP - 25cm double ported Subwoofer Box >> box >> 50

total cost for this setup is about £320

quick question do i need a 2 or 4 channel amp?

Ignore max power figures concentrate on RMS ;)

And good call on the no-6*9's front.

Which one of those is the sub?
