NGK plugs in Zetec

Postby grahamb on Sat Feb 22, 2003 10:40 am

Just had to replace another set in the 1.8 Mondeo, the last ones were renewed in October 2002.

One of them has a huge tracking mark down the side of the ceramic, and the engines been lurching for the last 4 weeks, and curiosity got the better of me, so I changed the plugs.

I'm running Champion EON 704's now, same price, and the engine now runs normally again. Wonder if a change of manufacturer may cure the problem permanently.

Anyone else tried the NGK's and had problems?
