Re: Nick's ST
niracka :Does that have a chrome exhaust tip??
If so get it cleaned. One of my pet hates seing them just left to go dull n dirty.
Yep it does, and here's an update that will make you proud
A bit of baby oil and a scouring pad later and...
Also got the decal through and fitted
And an overall shot of the rear

Re: Nick's ST
hmmm thats better Nick!!!!
Tryed to get my mate to do the ones on his focus st and he was lsike "oh thats well sad" The way I see it its chrome for a reason as its part of the trim. If ford didn';t intend on it being shiny then they would just hide it under the bumper.
Good on you thaugh looks sooooo much better for it.

Re: Nick's ST
Looks nice Nick Would be nice to see the fog surrounds, front and rear grills, and rear reflector plastic bits sprayed gloss black, that would set it off nicely! ST badge on the front grill looks spot on too, almost standard

Yea I really like them down in the lowwer grille. I have one on my mondeo and love it. As said it looks factory. They should have just put these on in the first place lol.

Nick's ST
Cheers guys
Danny, I have thought about the plastics but have come to the decision to leave them be I don't want this to become like my old car with bad bits of painting all over the shop, even the wheels and lights won't be meddled with the most that will happen externally will be the lowering and I'll be tinting the foglight glass with yellow lamin-x film
Ollie - I don't know is the honest answer! The springs are advertised at 35mm, and some ST owners with these springs say it is 35mm, some say it's 20mm, so I actually have no idea. Looking at other ST's with the Eibach springs it's the perfect height for me

Yea eibach's are good mate, I'v got them on my focus. Wouldn't bother with uprated shocks anymore thaugh as I like the ride on standard ones and althaugh it makes it great fun when you want to get a little crazy I just dont think theyre worth the money.
Looking forward to seing yours sitting that little bit lower thaugh

It's still 4 and a half years old lol, I've just had bad experiences with seized and difficult bolts so I'm not taking the risk and coating them in wd40 from now so they're nice and easy to undo when the springs arrive.
