Now if i was going to do the same thing on my Astra, can i ask how you wired it up?

Did you run a feed from you main light (hence the dimming action)?

Yeah, I took a feed from the bulb holder in the interior light:

ran the cable along the headlining, then down the a pillar, through behind the glovebox then into the footwell lights themselves :)

Yeah, the vinyl peeled when I jet washed it so ripped them off (oygan cing didn't have the same ring to it).

Still got the small black one though :)
