Here we go then!

Received my non-resonated Milltek on Tuesday, in its massive box:

Shiny shiny!

Wanted to fit it myself however the weather was totally against me, so I spoke to my mates at my local garage and they could squeeze me in same day.

Off with the old:

And on with the new:

Perfect size :)

Sorry Nick, I think it sounds like you've got a hole in your exhaust. The note needs to be a bit deeper IMO.

Its deeper in person, the camcorder I was using isn't fantastic at picking up the low notes. I was surprised when I heard it in person :)

Thanks for the comment though Mark :)

Seems to pick up a lot better. Possibly lost some low down torque but definitely revs free-er. :)

It looks very tidy, Nick. I don't often like red calipers but they work well here with the blue and hints of red in the ST badges.

Thanks for the comment Mark, I appreciate it coming from you (as you have impeccable taste!).

No more plans at the moment apart from maintenance stuff. I'm going to sort out another service shortly, have just won on eBay a replacement remote control for my Parrot bluetooth unit, so that will be reinstalled, and minor bodywork (bonnet and bumper stonechips, ding in rear bumper, two dents on top of bootlid)

Had around 20 cars turn up to that meet, good turnout and the diner we went to is pretty nice.

I suppose I'd better update this a little bit.

I've got some new better quality pressed plates, without screw holes and without the GB Euro flag on the side, held in by a thin plate surround. At the same time, (I know this one is going to cause some comments), a bonnet bra, and some TeamHEKO wind deflectors for the front windows.

The bra is only on for long motorway journeys really, most of the time (especially with the weather) it's been off the car.

I take off the caps - they're such a loose fit that they fall off over potholes etc, so its not worth the risk keeping them on all the time. They're safely stored in the boot lol. I forgot to put them on when taking those pics.
