holy late reply batman! Sorry Jay, just saw this reply as I looked up the thread to find out the cars reg number lol.

We removed the sunroof as it was leaking, and in minging condition, there was also some rot around the sunroof which we repaired, so roof needed painting or wrapping. We figured this panel was lighter and makes the roof more soild in the event of a roll or anything.

I am leaving the wrong way spelling, fudgekin bothered, its well effort to go in and edit.

Set to work on this yesterday, seems quicker to break it now rather than keep throwing time at it but hohum.

The underside needed abit of welding, so Paul did some welding, he did it very fast and I would say it was about 400x neater than some other underneath of Fiesta welding I have seen, but he was still deeply ashamed of it, and covered it up with loads of grey goo.

He he is getting it ready for welding, and a second picture to confirm sweet, sweet penetration.

I drilled 8 holes while Paul did all that, to fit a strut brace. We did it properly and everything, with nylocks underneath and allen heads on top. I imagine this coupled with the cage and lots of polybushes will make it as stiff as Mark Stewart after an all night plankathon. The only thing missing is a rear brace, I mean we have a massive weld in one between the struts that the harnesses go to, but not a s**t one that bolts to the top of the suspension, I hear these change the world.



Fitted this pink rusty bonnet so shortsighted people think its a FRST when its whizzing round the track. It looks and fits awful and the badge fell of when I touched it.

That said, it is close now. It coming back to my house soon, where its getting a wiring tidy up and a bit of a tidy inside as well. Needs a pair of tyres too. Paul said he nearly booked on for Combe, I said he should have, would have a goal then
