I brought this FRST 2 year ago, while looking for a replacement for my first FRST which I had when I was 18. Despite finding a good condition one, I wanted it to be as good as my old one. Over the first winter I pulled out the interior, repainted the entire floor. Noting only 1 piece of welding in the sill area, it is about 4 inches long. At the same time I replaced the wiring loom. Put it back together with new carpet, and bench rear bench seat. The winter just gone I decide it needed a bit more power, and brought a recently refurb T3 turbo, brand beige injectors, and a 195 superchip, as well as the normal service items, and ancillaries required. Currently still running 5-7psi, and requires a rolling road set-up.

Also before the summer arrived MOT was required the only work require was rear wheel bearing, and some emissions adjustments. Currently running very lean and as I said would benefit from a rolling road setup. Advisories where front discs corroded (These have now been replaced), and an oil leak (I am sure this is the oil pressure gauge pipe. Its only tiny and there is no noticeable oil loss.)

The car has a few small niggling problems in addition the ones mentioned; drivers side coilover has a slight knock, small rust bubbles on roof, and 2 at filler cap (These haven’t change at all in 2 years, each bubble is no bigger than 5p), rust on the boot lid just under the window, 6 inches long. (Again hasn’t got any worse in the 2 years I’ve owned it.), Oil pressure gauge needs plumbing in (all the parts are present.), body kit is cracked where it is moulded to the rear ¾ panel.

Mileage is 78901, it’s only done 6k miles in the last 4 years, and the history backs up the mileage.

It has been repainted at some point, but on the whole this car is in good condition, and cleans up very nicely. I get regular complements on what a nice example it is.

Here is the rough spec.

Engine:
t3 Turbo upgrade
Radtec front mount intercooler
Head has cvh34 camshaft and vernier pulley
Brand new Beige Injectors
195 chip.
Scorpion exhaust system
Some samco hoses
Battery relocated to the boot
Kenlow engine fan

Suspension:
Full gaz coilver set front and rear.

Brakes:
4x4 Cosworth brakes

Car also comes with proper fitted waterproof breathable cover.

MOT: 30th April 2015

£2,200.

Sorted the tyre problem today, by way of a new set of alloys with nearly new Hankooks.
