Ofab ECU - HELP!!!

Ofab ECU - HELP!!!

Postby russellffrst on Sat Jun 21, 2014 8:52 am

Hi all,

I would like to ask if the Ofab ecu is programmable or not and if yes where could i find the software. The reason why I'm asking is because I phoned a car setter and asked him to check if my car is running well like air/fuel ratio and so on. He told me that he can check but if there might be a need for setting something this cannot be done without a programmable ecu and software. If someone could help it will be much appreciated.

Thanks.

ofab/ofac ecu's can be chipped but not reprogrammed as in say a aftermarket ecu..the tuner will only be able to set the car up to the limits of the factory map without a chip

Hi FRSJON,

Thanks for your reply. I read about chips but i wish to leave the engine as it is...Will go to the tuner to check if everything is running in order. Thanks again... :)
