When buying a chip I take it you have to state which management your using?

so OFAB chips won't work with OFAC?

does anyone know...

yep ya have to know which one you need before ya buy one!

ofab and ofac arent interchangeable!

easy way to tell is buy the map sensor! if its a 2i type one its ofac and if its cozzie type one its ofab!

you can allready run high boost on ofac

if you want to run more than ofac can do in a cvh then your daft

a zetec turbo should run happy on ofac 18 psi or so is plenty

if you can afford an engine that will run that much boost then you can afford an aftermarket management system ie pectel

I dind't know...I read everywhere that if you wanna run say 15 psi you should fit a 3 bar...they just don't consider OFAC owners :x

I think your right about it being a 2 bar sensor so it wouldn't matter...I don't know that much myself so have to go on what I read...not as much on OFAC but I think I understand now :)

sorry to butt in on the post but.....

as quoted if the OFAC is the same type i.e. frequancy type map as the 2i would one of those work on the ofac frst??? or are the pressures different?

just strugglin to find an ofac map at a good price i.e. not ford dealer price

I thought the Xr2i Map sensor could olny deal with Negative pressures, so when you came on boost i.e. positive pressure, it'd get confused?
