ofab
i have ofab on my frst .but whats so good about this ecu?
can i connect a 3 bar map sensor to it [ERRR] they look the same.

No you can't you need to get a mapped chip to run a 2.5 or a 3 bar. The good thing about ofab is you can run more the 15psi ofac won't do it as easy you will have to see MSD who say they can get it to run over a bar (15 psi) but when me and my mate asked the to make us a hight boost limit chip or no boost limit chip they said we would have to go and see them which is odd when you can get a crapy power chip's that doesn't have a boost limit

Not sure but the map sensor must be different surlyknuckles :Does that mean the cvh xr2i can run ofac without much changes as it has a ofac map sensor ?

It is.. The XR2i has a barometric sensor (1 atmosphere).. the OFAC rst is a 2 bar sensor..
The difference is.. OFAC uses a digital MAP sensor, the same as what is inside an escort rs turbo ecu. It's (factory) limit is 1 bar boost. That's why OFAB is superior, because it supports any analogue MAP sensor and you can re-calibrate the ecu/chip for whatever sensor you want (if you know how).
