oil pressure problems
I have recently changed the hydraulic tappits on my Fiesta RS Turbo. I took it out of the garage and as I was driving I noticed that the oil lamp on the dashboard started to flicker when engine went into idling mode. I changed the oil pump but when I took it out again and engine was in idling mode and as I turned round corners the oil lamp started to flicker again. I then changed the oil filter and switch of oil pressure pump but the problem kept persisting. I have no idea what the problem could be.
Does anyone has any advice?

Re: oil pressure problems
i take it you dont have a oil pressure gauge?. first check you have the enough oil in it then check the oil pressure switch/wire before thinking the worse..

Re: oil pressure problems
I was thinking it sounded like a loose connection ,,could just be loose on the switch
Easy way to check it just run a new wire from the clocks to the switch

Re: oil pressure problems
FRSJon I did check oil pressure using the oil pressure gauge and there were some problems with oil pressure but that problem was solved once I changed the oil pump but the oil lamp still kept flickering. And there is enough oil in it because it was the first thing I checked
MikeyMikeyP I will definitely take your advice and check for any loose connections.
