wouldn't bother with 10-30, 5-30 is much better for them.

Surely Mobil 1 15w-50 Fully Synthetic Oil has got to be the gear to use!

If it's good enough for the Maclaren Formula One team and Boeing 777 aircraft, then it's definitely good enough for any roadcar without a shadow?

yeah, but my fiesta engine aint made by Pratt & Whitney! LOL

The zetec needs a faily low viscosity oil at both hot and cold temperatures to help prevent sticking valves in the cylinder head. Although on the early models this was a bit of a problem, it can be helped grately by using a 5w oil. Agree with the fully synthetic though.

0W-30 is just too thin for a Ford engine for now - maybe in a few years when engineering tolerances have decreased a bit.

We use Castrol 5w-30(mineral) at work and is recommended by ford. I`ve stripped engine with 100000 miles on then and there is hardly any wear in the engine, bores are near perfect. 0W-40 should be o.k as zetecs are pretty oil tight. Depends on how hard you thrash the engine!!
