right i have a 1.3 95 Lx, the haynes manual says to use 5w/50 to 10w/30 which is the best to use??

also can i put in thicker oil then stated???

I would go for the lightest recommended oil. The 1.3 is hardly a performance unit, so go for the thin stuff for the slight increase in efficiency. If you are getting thicker oil to stop the rattling, wont really work needs the problem sorting not the symptom.

alrite nice one, i got 5w 30 in at the mo, and ive just grinded the tappets, so the noise has gone, just needed to no the best option :D
