OMP Roll Cage XR2i > 89+RINF
Has any body fitted a ten point bolt in cage?
If so was it an OMP item?
So how was it? Was it easy? Did it take long? How well did it fit? Did you weld in extra mounting support? Any pics?
Any info would be usefull, thinking of fitting one to a road car...hence trying to keep the interior sort of there!!
Many Thanks
Marvin

it can be done but most of the interior plastics and seat backs will have to be modified (with a saw and or grinder) to clear the cage.
i welded in 2 of the L shaped brackets into the inside of the car just behine the drivers seat asi only fited the rear half.... where it mounted to the rear turrets is reinforeced double skinned anyways so figured it didnt ned anything else there.
there is a few pics here of me fitting the rear half with the interior in but im using all mk5 bits of interior so could be slightly easier for you as the mk5 is more moulded than the mk3.
