You will need a fascia panel, wiring adapter and release keys..i can sell you the whole lot for about £15 delivered

In regards to what equipment to go for...what sort of budget have you got?

fascia adapter and wiring is in stock mate so can order whenever you want...

I wouldnt bother with 6x9's and invest the same money into the front end speakers...what sort of music is it that you listen to? stritcly D+B or a bit of a variety?

A single 12 is the safe bet or maybe even 2 if you dont mind losing boot space?

A cheap install i have done many of consists of;

Massive Audio P500.1
2 x Massive Audio PW 12 (200wrms each) or evens 10s for a harder hitting bass...but you will sacrifice the low end a touch
Double box

Absolutely jammin install for the money!! Plays loud and clear with no problems! No one has been disappointed for an entry level install so far!

Couple this with the front components or co-axials, and you will be loving it!!

For £500 my money would go

Massive Audio P500.1
2 x Massive Audio PW 12 (200wrms each) or evens 10s for a harder hitting bass...but you will sacrifice the low end a touch
Double box
Wiring kit

The above i can do for £350

If you want to go the component route, then i would choose out of the following;

SPL Dynamics SD5.2 £80
DLS K5 £80

Or if you dont want to go through the hassle of fitting components, then Coaxials will also work...would choose along the lines of

DLS125 £60
CDT CL5EX £75 (use these in one of my Corsa's and they sound awesome!)
SPL Dynamics TD502 £45

Along with the above, you will also need

Fascia
Wiring adapter
Speaker adpaters (SAK 1505 off the top of my head)

Headunit wise, the worlds your oyster...all depends on features and what you want from the unit as to what can be spent and recommended...

have a look here to have a quick look at the brands i mentioned http://www.teamspb.co.uk its a work in progress yet but the products page works...

also worth a quick mention is while you may not have heard of all the brands that i have mentioned...I refuse to sell the more 'outthere halfords' brands that you are used to seeing...there is SO much better than what is available over the internet in general...but you just gotta know what your looking for...which is what i try to sell...
