Pace ally intercooler

Postby icecool on Thu Aug 01, 2002 10:51 pm

Thinking of getting one for my FRST when I've finished paying for it. Car currently has samco hoses, magnex stainless steel exhaust and a K&N panel filter.

Just a couple of questions - what do you lot think of them, will I actually notice a difference? What are like to fit?

Got one on mine. Can't tell you the difference with the original because I bought my FRST donor as a tea-leafed, damaged one where the intercooler, radiator and front suspension was broken. I just got the Pace on to replace it straight away.
Not difficult to fit, the pipes are quite tight on the Samco hoses but a little grease helps them slide on and means you'll get a good seal.

Don't forget to get it set-up afterwards. Uping the fuel delivery/boost because you can run lower act's adds to the performance.

Will be selling mine in the not to distant future because I need a bigger rad so will have to change the intercooler as well.

Looks sweet, seems to go better (acts were deff lower - by abot 5/10 degrees)
But a Bic™ to fit in the fiesta - that bumper of ours is going off have to come off to fit it

Makes a small difference..

You dont know how hard it is until you fit it on a T3'd fiesta!

I've got new plans now.. bigger and better, and easier than the GRS item
