Paddle clutch

CVH and Zetec tuning, suspension and braking mods.

since im putting a new engine in my car (trying to) im gonna change the clutch at the same time, are paddle clutches much better and are they a direct replacement??
how much are they?? :???:

About £260-280 i think, direct swap but you`ll have to skim the flywheel, they just hold more power without slipping.

I didn't skim mine, whats that for?

My AP Paddle was £275 delivered next day..

I love it, standard is pants and you get used to it.. Its a wise investment mate..

Mine wasn't skimmed and i had quite bad judder, its well worth doing :grin:

You MUST have the flywheel skimmed to get a flat face or you`ll end up with judder and it may well slip as the friction plate will not be in full contact of the flywheel, won`t last long either!!. I only get slight judder(normal) from mine.. Cost me £32 to have mine skimmed, probably looking at around £40ish normal price, try your local engineers or ask your local dealer where they get their heads skimmed etc..
