Ok i know some of u rant on about not being able to paint the 2i spoiler [ERRR] of its plastic style rubber coating, but mine seems fine.

I got rid of the rubber coating with sand paper and a stanley knife and had it painted about a month ago using etch primer and many coats of it and it looks fine after nearly 2 months.

Am i looking at long term problems [ERRR] if i am i will seel it to the wipper snapper down the road and snap up a mondy style job

inform me plz i need the data :bonkers:

You wanna know if it's gonna last-well yeah it is [ERRR] mine has lasted nearly a year now & it's still fine.

I don't know what you mean by "I got rid of the rubber coating with sand paper and a stanley knife" though? Surely you didn't hack the rubber with a stanley knife did ya? Plus you can't sand down rubber or can U??!

One other thing is you'll still need a 2i or an RS spoiler to fix the mondy spoiler to so you may need to keep it dude.

Matthew - It's only the RS ones that are hard mate. Your Si one is the same as a 2i one. It'll be hard to put a mondy spoiler onto your Si one without replacing the Si/2i one with the firmer RS item. Brad

i sprayed mine up about a year ago and it's fine too! it was a rubbery xr2i one too! Just enquired about the mondeo one going on and my local bodyshop says if the worst comes to the worst they will bond it to the 2i spoiler with that super strong silkaflex stuff.
