I'm looking to have the same conversion and have all the parts needed (turbo, manifold, etc). How much have you been quoted?

Mine should be back on the road soon, just waiting for me chargecooler+manifold to come back (being modified) and then I can get it to Owen dev. to get the stainless downpipe modified and chip remapped. Before it produced 170bhp at only 4990 rpm and torque started to tail off at 4500 rpm, so hopefully the T3 will give it the extra kick it needs!!

have yet to get a cost on labour, but should have one before saturday.

Have noticed that my clutch slips when in 3,4,5 when the turbo comes on boost...s*** more expenses, anyone know of a decent uprated clutch thats not much heavier than standard?

Heat shields? who does these? I also need new brakes, thinking of the larger type, with standard calipers, anyone tried these? Though I'll need a larger set of wheels and the 15" rs2000's I saw were sold before i got there. bugger! This is beginning to look like an expensive hobby.

ended up soucing parts from somewhere else.
t3 manifold, actuator, turbo, airbox, exhaust downpipe for about £200.
Unfortunately I bought them before i spoke to muffking, i think he's got loads of parts for the conversion and at a better price.
There's a lot more involved than i first thought and the next expense will be the flow and return pipes from the turbo, under £100 but still a bit pricy.
I've been looking at t3 hybrids, and a stage 2 is about the same money as a standard t2, and its a smaller turbo. Jokers. Anyway the t3 conversion will be cheaper in the long run, and a hybrid will spin up about 500 rpm later.
over and out.
