Peco BB4 Backbox

Postby Smuggl0r on Wed Jan 19, 2005 4:09 pm

Hi,
I got a Peco BB4 backbox for quite cheap off a mate, from his 1.1 fiesta. The thing is i tried it on my 1.6 EFI fiesta, and my exhaust bore is bigger than the backbox. Is there anything i can do to make it fit, i've heard of making the backbox pipe that connects to the exhaust pipe slightly bigger, but wont that create a bit of pressure, which is not necessarily good? If not, looks like i'm gonna have to sell it.
Thanks
Smuggl0r :D

Not worth it mate,

It will cause a restriction on your current exhaust, and you may find you lose power.

Sell the thing, and buy a SS system!
