0-60 depends on the cam you fit..

30bhp.. i dont think a cam would "really" add that much break alone

First thing i would do is get a decat pipe mate.. get rid of that cat..

Airfilter/exhaust system get it breathing a bit better.

dunno ian m8 it should pass with out a cat if its a good clean engine but all ways best to keep it as u say

I have seen a PROVEN 25bhp on a Xr2i 8v engine using Kent cams. Bloody marvelloous. :wink:

Don't all post 92 cars have to have a cat to pass the mot regardless of them having a clean engine or not?

I think kent cams do a cam kit that gives an instant 12bhp increase on a standard engine....

If you fit an induction kit, exhaust system and chip, cams will give you about 25 bhp on top of what you're already running

Say with the above mods you're running 105bhp.. you might be looking at 130bhp which is certainly RS1800i/standard RST territory!!!!

well i have no personal experience but i have had ppl say that if u get a performance exhaust you will not notice any dif with or without the cat and i would alway keep the cat but thats me :D
