i used to own a mk3 fiesta 1.3 ghia firefly (if that makes any difference) and i found that Green cotton do a filter kit for it, think it was about 80 squids, and i put an ashley exhaust system from xr2i and a custom 4-2-1 manifold on it. went like stink (bearing in mind it was still a 1.3)

dont know exact times but everyone who went in it said it was quick!
give it a go its a fairly cheap set up, at the end of the day its a 1.3 push rod its never going to be stupidly fast.

i also heard a rumour that your engine can easily be turned into a 1.6 with use of new pistons and rods. no boring out required apparently its a bit of a stroker set up.

source of info was my brothers motor vehicle mechanics tutor so dont hold me to anything but might be worth some research.
