performance manifold?

would a performance manifold make a significant difference to a 1.6, 8v xr2i?

i'm planning on either doing this or wrapping the original in some exhaust heat wrap so opinions please.

The performance manifolds will help the engine rev more

Had an Ashley 4 branch mated to a custom built full system (proper job not a PowerFlow). Made a noted improvement to the car :Q

so they deffieantly do something. thats all i wanted to know, didn't want to get one and then find it doesn't do anything.
